On the morning of January 30, the first session of the 2026 Huainan City Entrepreneurs Forum was officially held at the Municipal Government Affairs Center. Attendees included relevant department heads from the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Municipal Office of Business Environment Optimization, Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, Municipal Finance Bureau, Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, Municipal Taxation Bureau, as well as leading officials in charge of industry and information technology from various districts, counties, and industrial parks, along with representatives from enterprises in the specialized and refined cultivation pool and the SRDI “Little Giant” cultivation pool.

Under the theme “Supporting Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises on the Path of Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative Development,” Zhonggan TMSK, as a representative of a national SRDI “Little Giant” enterprise, was invited to attend. Chairman Chen Tianbao delivered a featured presentation, sharing the company’s practices and insights on the journey of SRDI development and engaging in exchanges with participating representatives.

During the sharing session, Chen Tianbao elaborated on how Zhonggan TMSK transformed the concept of “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” (SRDI) from a policy notion into a sustainable business logic, drawing on the company’s development journey. He noted that since its inception, the company has consistently focused on the field of mine intelligence. Leveraging Huainan’s strong local industrial foundation, it has continuously pursued technological R&D and industrial application, gradually building a full-chain capability system covering R&D, manufacturing, engineering services, and operation & maintenance

Drawing on the company’s years of exploration, Chen Tianbao shared Zhonggan TMSK’s specific practices across the four dimensions of “Specialization, Refinement, Distinctiveness, and Innovation”:

Specialization in Scenarios: Taking safety and efficiency pain points in actual mining operations as the starting point for innovation, the company has developed intelligent equipment such as intelligent rope replacement robots and intelligent bunker cleaning robots, promoting the substitution of technology for manual labor.

Refinement in Quality: Establishing a quality management system centered on safety, reliability, and ease of use, with a focus on the synergy between technical practicality and user experience.

Distinctiveness in Breakthroughs: Conducting targeted R&D to address key industry bottlenecks, forming distinctive solutions with independent intellectual property rights.

Innovation in Continuity: Maintaining a high level of R&D investment, with R&D expenses accounting for over 10% of operating revenue in recent years, and R&D personnel representing nearly 30% of the workforce, while promoting technological iteration and achievement transformation through industry-university-research collaboration.

03 From Product to System: Building Integrated Service Capability

The company has gradually evolved from its early focus on single-product R&D into a solution provider with comprehensive capabilities encompassing “intelligent equipment, system integration, and digital platforms.” To date, the company has accumulated over 130 national patents and intellectual property rights, obtained more than 300 safety certification (MA) products, and established long-term collaborative innovation mechanisms with universities such as Anhui University of Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, and the University of Science and Technology of China, as well as with several national key laboratories

Chen Tianbao stated that Zhonggan TMSK will continue to deepen its industrial presence in Huainan, promoting the integration of technological R&D with local industrial upgrading. The company plans to support the development of a nationally influential mining intelligent equipment industrial cluster in Huainan through sustained technological breakthroughs and industrialization efforts, providing strong support for the advancement of “Huainan Intelligent Manufacturing” in the field of intelligent mining.

At the conclusion of his sharing session, Chen Tianbao offered three key recommendations based on the company’s growth and application experience: “genuine collaboration, effective communication, and early strategic planning,” encouraging participating enterprises to steadily advance along the path of SRDI development in line with their own circumstances.

The forum also featured sessions on the release of typical case studies, policy interpretation, and interactive exchanges, providing a platform for local small and medium-sized enterprises to connect with policies, share experiences, and pursue collaborative development. Zhonggan TMSK will continue to deepen its exploration of the SRDI path and work together with all stakeholders to support the high-quality development of the regional industrial landscape
